Well, we are "somewhat" moved. Two weekends ago, our good friend Peter came up from Iowa to help us move. He is such a blessing to us, and we are so thankful for his friendship. We miss you Pete!
Fast forward to now. We still have stuff at our old place and a lot to be unpacked at our new place. Currently, our bedroom looks like a tornado went through. I'm hoping to at least organize our clothes tonight so we aren't scrambling to put outfits together tomorrow morning. I'll be glad when we are officially settled. We are making ourselves sit down tonight for at least an hour - perfect time to blog and watch the new
Office episode.
So what have we been up to? Well, last week we spent our evenings putting in Kitchen #2, aka Sam's kitchen. We ripped up the carpet to install tile. Grouting was time consumming but totally worth it (and kind of fun too!). And not going to lie, I secretly want to switch Sam's appliances with our kitchen appliances. On a side note, if you are working on a home project, go to Home Depot. They have excellent customer service.

Next week's project - it's not exactly DIY, but the electrician is coming to put recess lighting in the living room and kitchen. Currently, the living room has no lights; yuck! Thankfully, next week that will change.
Hope you are all staying warm in this cold weather!
This is really intriguing! I am anxious to see the finished project!
