Week in Review

We are finally starting to adjust back to our normal schedule.  Yay!  Still have not had time to do anything with Hawaii pictures.  They will come sooner or later...

The snow bank in the front yard and the ice on the lake officially melted this week, which allowed us to scout out the yard and start the list of outdoor projects.  Seems funny since we still have indoor projects to complete.  Oh well, a little here, a little there.  I'm getting excited to plant my garden too!  Dad tells me I still have to wait a month to plant though, so I'm trying to be patient in the meantime and brainstorming ideas.

Thanks to Matt, we booked our tickets to Oregon this summer for some Fast family loving and fun on the coast! After watching ticket prices since January, it was such a relief to find nonstop tickets at a great price. Counting down the days!

Papa & Grandma came to visit yesterday.  Grandma was able to help me identify some flowers coming up - sedum, irises, daffodils, columbine, etc., and we spent the afternoon playing Settlers. SO fun to spend a Saturday with them!

Matt and our friend Erik took the kayak out for its first outing of the season this morning.

We started a Bible Study this week and are excited to see how the Lord uses it for His glory.

Currently enjoying a relaxing Sunday evening.  Matt installed a programmable thermostat, while I made comfort food - homemade pizza and wine.  I was too lazy to make dough, so Trader Joe's Garlic and Herb pizza dough, a layer of pesto, tomatoes, fresh mozarella, and basil left our stomachs satisfied.  Yes, even Matt's too! :)

Have a wonderful week everyone!
